About - Who am I?

About Me

I am a filmmaker and content creator, skilled in various elements across the film-making process, but most notably editing.

From a young age, I enjoyed writing stories and creating my own Lego stop motion videos. But it wasn't until a study of Steven Spielberg's "Jaws" (1975) in school where I realised the true potential for the study and creation of films and the film industry. A new creative pathway for myself opened up from this point in time, and I have pursued it since. That's the heavily dramatised version of events anyway!

Now though, I have recently graduated from my Film Production course at the University of Winchester. I have kept the majority of my skill-set varied, through camera operating, sound design and producing, but my true calling is in directing, writing and editing. I have created and been a part of many short film projects, ranging in genre and style.

My current projects include developing ideas and producing video content for a Cloud Management company based in Brighton. I also present a weekly technology news show, #WhatTheTech.

This is a list of previous films I have worked on, from most recent to oldest, and you can find links to watch each of them here.

A tale of Crime, Drugs and...Tea? Detectives Scott Saunders and Thomas Ward investigate a curious case of drug smuggling, in their most inept way possible, in "Brew Ha Ha". This is a buddy-detective comedy made to homage the genre's 70s and 80s origins, but with a very British spin. Watch Here

A Hitchhiker and a Loner. Two very unassuming people cross paths, but there's more to them than meets the eye. "Honeytrapper" is a tense psyco-thriller, looking at the idea of two character with evil intentions and how that plays out across the film.

People's relationship with technology is becoming increasingly more complicated, and in the case of "L.I.S.A.", more scary. This is a technological thriller that explores the increasing power technology has over us, and how when it goes wrong, it can be terrible. Watch Here

For deaf librarian Joe, his workplace is uninteresting, and customers rude. But when new employee Alice starts work, Joe finds someone who understands him. Or so he thinks. "Stick Together" is one of the more lighthearted films I've been a part of, effectively a romance, albeit not necessarily with a happy ending. Watch Here

Rebecca

A former History student at the University of Winchester, Rebecca endured sexual harassment from one of her lecturers. Further issues were raised when the harassment was initially reported. "Rebecca" is a short documentary into the events that occurred and Rebecca's perspective of it all. Watch Here

My Twitter feed is not only my hub for film and videogame news, but also where I write my own mini Twit-Reviews for films I have been watching. If you're interested, have a read, have a laugh, and give us a follow. If all else fails, this is where my career as a film critic begins!

Bit of a weird name I know, but this is my other means of content creation. On my YouTube channel, I create various videos on videogames, such as LetsPlays, Unboxing videos, and building videos. Sometimes my love for videogames and films collide together in other videos.

My Instagram feed is where you will find all of the Behind-the-Scenes of upcoming film projects, posters and other such content.
